WWE Hall of Famer “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan has been hospitalized, according to a statement released by his wife, Debra Duggan. She revealed that Duggan was taken to the hospital last night and underwent emergency surgery this morning. While the retired superstar is said to be doing well, Debra promises to provide further updates as they become available.

Duggan’s hospitalization comes after a wild calendar year for the wrestling legend, which included a battle with prostate cancer and dealing with a home invasion. Despite these challenges, Duggan has shown resilience and determination throughout his career.

We want to extend our thanks to everyone who came out yesterday to support Duggan as he was honored by the Glens Falls Firefighters Association. We also apologize to those who arrived after 3:30 and were unable to see him. Unfortunately, Duggan’s hospitalization prevented him from attending the event.

Jim was taken to the hospital and admitted yesterday evening. He underwent emergency surgery this morning, and we are pleased to report that everything went well. As a result, we will be rescheduling tomorrow’s event in Utica, MI for a later time. We appreciate your understanding and support during this time.

Debra Duggan, Jim’s wife, expressed her gratitude for the prayers and well-wishes they have received. She assures fans and supporters that they will continue to provide updates on Duggan’s condition as more information becomes available.
