Veteran Superstar Randy Orton is in town for WWE SummerSlam Weekend

Multiple sources report that Randy Orton has been brought to Detroit for SummerSlam Weekend, but there is no sign that he will be returning to action at Saturday’s big event. According to Fightful Select, people close to Orton have stated that he is nowhere near being medically cleared to return at this point.

Earlier this week, it was reported that doctors have advised Orton against wrestling in the future due to his health. Despite this, Orton is still working towards a return. For more details on Orton’s condition, plans for the future, and other backstage notes, you can read the report here.

Orton has been out of action since the May 20, 2022 episode of SmackDown. He underwent fusion surgery on his lower back later that year.
