Fujisawa Next for Third A Block Night

Night five of World Tag League sees action in Fujisawa on the Shonan coast, and A Block back in action as they approach the midway point of their campaigns.

Main event WTL A Block- United Empire (Great-O-Khan & HENARE) (1-1) vs TMDK (Shane Haste & Mikey Nicholls) (2-0)

Tag record: 1-0 United Empire

The main event sees a replay of last year’s World Tag League battle between TMDK and United Empire’s O-Khan and HENARE. Then, it was O-Khan and HENARE picking up the win on Mikey Nicholls and Shane Haste, and with TMDK currently the only undefeated team in A Block, threatening to move clear at six points, pressure will be strong for United Empire to repeat the feat. Can O-Khan and HENARE get the job done, or will TMDK continue to dominate?

7th Match: WTL A Block- Kaito Kiyomiya & Ryohei Oiwa (1-1) vs HOUSE OF TORTURE (EVIL & Yujiro Takahashi) (1-1)

Kaito Kiyomiya and Ryohei Oiwa enter their third league match at 1-1, but without a pinfall or submission win to their name just yet, with their two points coming off a countout in Korakuen hall over the War Dogs. Outside forces or not, Fujisawa will be keen for the Pro-Wrestling NOAH representatives to get a clean and clear victory over HOUSE OF TORTURE and prevent EVIL and Yujiro from making the midway point Tuesday with a positive win:loss record.

6th Match: WTL A Block- CHAOS (Toru Yano & Tomohiro Ishii) (1-1) vs BULLET CLUB War Dogs (Alex Coughlin & Gabe Kidd) (1-1)

Tomohiro Ishii and Toru Yano will be taking on Alex Coughlin and Gabe Kidd in a match that will likely see the War Dogs gunning for Yano. During the G1, Kidd was an outside invading factor in Yano’s match with Coughlin, and found himself sent through a table as a consequence. But it was Coughlin getting the victory over CHAOS’ Master Producer, and the Dead Eye Dreadnaught has been keen to remind Yano of that fact. Will CHAOS strike back tonight?

5th Match: WTL A Block: Shota Umino & Ren Narita (1-1) vs Gates of Agony (Bishop Kaun & Toa Liona) (1-1)

With seven matches in each block league, three losses could well be the mark of elimination. At 0-3, Gates of Agony have their backs against the wall despite impressing in their opening performances. Will they be able to bounce back against the 1-1 Umino and Narita?
