Him? There are so many talented wrestlers on the WWE roster that it can be difficult to find a spot for all of them. This can include wrestlers who are in the middle of the card as well as those near the top. The difference in their spots can be rather wide, but occasionally there is a difference of opinion over where a wrestler should be placed. That is the case again with a popular WWE Superstar.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: It’s Up? WWE Gets Some Rather Positive Results From An Unexpected Place

In January at the Royal Rumble, Sami Zayn turned on the Bloodline by attacking Roman Reigns. This led to Zayn unsuccessfully challenging Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Title at Elimination Chamber in Zayn’s hometown of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. However, there are reportedly several executives in WWE who do not feel Zayn is a top level star.

Fightful Select has spoken to a source high up in the company who disagreed, saying that WWE is happy with Zayn’s performance. Zayn is also said to have been easy to work with during his rise in the company and his Tag Team Title shot with Kevin Owens against the Usos at WrestleMania 39 has been planned since November. The source said “Elimination Chamber didn’t happen in his hometown by accident” and Just because he isn’t competing for the championship, doesn’t mean he isn’t viewed at that level. There is no word on what WWE has planned for Zayn after WrestleMania.

It’s safe to say that Zayn has been on a roll lately. Check out some of his recent efforts:

Opinion: It’s really hard to argue against the idea of Zayn being one of the top stars in WWE at the moment. WWE has pushed him incredibly far and he is a legitimate main eventer right now. It would be nuts to not see how far they can run with him and hopefully that is the case. I have no idea how far Zayn can go, but he has proven he can hang in the deep end and that is a very positive sign.

What do you think of Zayn? Will he win a WWE World Title? Let us know in the comments below.
