GUNTHER On The Ultimate Warrior: “He’s A Showman, Not A Professional Wrestler”
WWE star and current reigning Intercontinental Champion, GUNTHER, recently shared his thoughts on wrestling legend, the Ultimate Warrior, during an appearance on The Bump. When asked about former champions in the company, the Ring General took the opportunity to remind audiences that the Warrior was more of an entertainer than a wrestler.
GUNTHER stated, “Those are the real dark ages. He’s a showman. He’s not an athlete, not a professional wrestler, he’s a showman. Now, everybody knows why I have to be the one to keep this title for the longest time in history to wash its reputation clean and set it to a new standard.”
In a separate interview, GUNTHER also expressed his admiration for Bret “The Hitman” Hart and his desire to face off against him in the ring.
