Giulia still STRONGest after gripping four way bout
The beautiful insanity of Giulia still reigned supreme as STRONG Women’s Champion after Multiverse United 2, and an intense four way defence against Momo Kohgo, Gisele Shaw and Deonna Purrazzo.
All four women collided early, Giulia taking down Purrazzo before flash pin attempts led to a standoff. Shaw would be the first to be booted out of the ring, but would get back into the bout to take over on the champion, burying elbows into the corner and sending boots through both Giulia and Kohgo but unable to pin either.
Purazzo and Shaw continued a long rivalry for a moment, but as Giulia looked to take over, it turned into a crossbody off the top for Kohgo. Shaw joined the pile, getting just enough on a tornillo on the floor to take control, and get two off a Fisherman’s Buster to the champion. Giulia wasn’t to be denied though, and a stunning double underhook suplex off the top saw her fire back big.
Momo and Purrazzo got back in, and the match broke down further as all four women traded shots. The IMPACT Knockouts formed a very temporary team, ended with a Spanish Fly from Shaw to the Virtuosa, but a last minute breakup from the Japanese contingent kept the match going. Kohgo landed a DDT to Shaw, but got spiked with a suplex from Giulia, who shocked the 2300 Arena with a kickout of the Queen’s Gambit.
Shaw landed Shock And Awe to Purrazzo as the chaos continued, but was dropped with the Northern Lights Bomb, Giulia picking up V2 with the STRONG gold.
