Impact Wrestling is set to celebrate a major milestone with the taping of their 1000th episode tonight in White Plains, NY. The highly anticipated event, aptly named Impact 1000, will be aired next Thursday on AXS TV. In addition to being a momentous occasion, the show will also serve as the post-Victory Road episode.
According to a report from PWInsider, Impact has some surprises in store for tonight’s tapings. While there has been speculation about the potential appearance of former Impact President Dixie Carter, as of 6pm ET, there was no sign of her.
The tapings kicked off with the return of Ultimate X, which took place inside the Westchester County Center. This marks the 50th Ultimate X in the history of Impact Wrestling, making it a significant moment for the promotion.
Prior to the show, the Impact 1000 Fan Celebration was held at the same venue and reportedly drew a large crowd. Backstage sources revealed that there was a celebratory atmosphere as many familiar faces from the past were in attendance. A massive group photo was taken before the doors opened, and fans can expect the company to release it soon.
Tonight’s tapings will feature matches for at least two episodes, leading up to the Mid-South Mayhem tapings on September 22 and 23 in Memphis. From there, Impact will head to Chicago for the highly anticipated Bound For Glory pay-per-view on October 21.

- James Storm and Chris Harris of America’s Most Wanted reuniting
- Impact Hall of Famers Team 3D reuniting for their first match together since August 2016

- Possible appearances by Shark Boy, ODB, Lance Storm, and others
