It appears that the WWE’s greatest European Champion will not be participating in this year’s Royal Rumble.

The first-ever Eurocontinental Champion D’Lo Brown has added his name to the list of former stars who won’t be competing in this year’s Rumble. Brown joins Sean Waltman, who also announced today that fans shouldn’t expect to see him participate, either.

D’Lo had been working with Impact Wrestling as a commentator and backstage producer until September 2022. He rejoined former Aces and Eights stablemates Wes Brisco and Garett Bischoff as their manager. His last match was a ten-man tag for Great Lakes Championship Wrestling in March 2022.

But it looks like his in-ring days are finished. Speaking with Sportskeeda’s UnSKripted podcast, he had this to say: “I can tell you it takes too much to get out of bed right now. It hurts everyday. Now look I knew exactly what I was training in when I got into this business but my time in the sun has set and I’m very happy with my career and the day I had in my career.”
