Welcome back? There have been all kinds of people involved in WWE over the years and some of them have had very different roles. Sometimes you will see someone leave the company after a run in one role, only to come back for a different job. That seems to be the case again, as a former wrestler is back to do something entirely different for WWE. You might not even see him on camera.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Had To Be Done: WWE Star Vacates Championship, Tournament Set Up For New Champion

Earlier this year, former NXT UK star Eddie Dennis, 37 years old, announced that he was retiring from the ring after a show in England. WWE has since added several corporate hires on its Linkedin page, including Dennis, who is listed as a writer/producer for NXT. There is no word on how long Dennis has been working in the role or what he has done that has made it to NXT TV so far.

Opinion: That’s a cool thing to see as Dennis was someone who felt like he had potential to be a bigger star than he already was. Dennis is a unique talent who was a teacher before he became a wrestler, so there is definitely some intellect behind his wrestling skills. Tying those two things together could be quite the upgrade and I’m curious to see what Dennis can do when he is given the chance.

What do you think of the hire? How will Dennis do in his new role? Let us know in the comments below.
