Two more WWE NXT Superstars have secured their spots in this year’s NXT Iron Survivor Challenge. The qualifying matches took place on the latest episode of WWE NXT, and the winners are now set to compete in the highly anticipated event.
WWE Hall of Fame legend Amy “Lita” Dumas handpicked the matchups for the women’s and men’s qualifying matches. The first bout featured Roxanne Perez taking on Lash Legend, while Trick Williams squared off against Joe Coffey in the second match.
In an impressive display of teamwork, Lash Legend emerged victorious with some help from Jakara Jackson of The Meta-Four and Kiana James. Their interference proved to be the deciding factor as Legend defeated former NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez. With this win, Legend secures her spot in the NXT Iron Survivor Challenge, joining Tiffany Stratton at NXT Deadline 2023.
Trick Williams faced a tough challenge in Joe Coffey, but he managed to overcome the odds. Despite interference from the group Gallus, Williams showcased his resilience and determination, ultimately earning the victory. Now, he will join Dijak in the Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge.
The WWE took to Twitter to celebrate the victories of Lash Legend and Trick Williams. The official WWE account shared a post highlighting their achievements, accompanied by exciting photos of the two Superstars.
“STATEMENT. MADE. @lashlegendwwe is headed to #NXTDeadline! #WWENXT,” the WWE tweeted, along with a photo of Lash Legend in action.
Trick Williams also received recognition on social media, with the WWE tweeting, “‘It’s my time’ @_trickwilliams is headed to #NXTDeadline! #WWENXT,” accompanied by a photo of Williams celebrating his victory.
