And out. With so many wrestlers on the WWE roster, it can mean a lot when a spot opens up. This could be the case for a variety of reasons, but one of the rarest is someone walking away from the company. That can make for some very rough situations as fans are left wondering if or when someone might be back. Now we have a better idea of the status of a popular star.

Last May, Naomi and Sasha Banks walked out on WWE over creative differences. Banks has since been released from WWE and has debuted in New Japan. However, there was never any confirmation of Naomi’s status. Naomi has since been announced for WrestleCon via an Instagram post. In the comments, Naomi is asked if she is still with WWE, to which she replied “no”. There is no word on when Naomi’s contract expired or where she may wind up next.

Opinion: This is one of those things that you could probably guess was coming but it is still nice to have some official closer to the situation. Naomi has been gone from WWE TV for about ten months now and there has been nothing to suggest that she was going to be back anytime soon. I’d love to see her in the ring again, but it does not seems likely in WWE for the time being.
