Stipulations are a great way to enhance a feud as it turns a second match into something that is much bigger. A stipulation can correct an error that happened in the first match or boost up the stakes and violence in the next match. It can be even bigger if the third match is bigger than the second, but this time around that does not seem to be what is going to happen.

Opinion: That’s certainly a strange way to go, and I’m not sure I get the thinking. At the end of the day, this is a huge blowoff match to the feud, but for some reason, it isn’t getting the usual boost that such a match gets. The two of them are capable of having an intense violent match, and that might even be what the feud calls for, but for now, it is going to be more basic, which is certainly a different way to go.
