WWE NXT returned to the WWE Performance Center in Winter Park, Florida for an action-packed night of professional wrestling. The show featured several exciting matches and intense backstage confrontations. Let’s dive into the results!
In the first match of the night, Andre Chase and Duke Hudson defended their WWE NXT Tag Team Championships against The Family. The match started with a high-energy exchange between Chase and Channing Lorenzo. The action was fast-paced and hard-hitting, with both teams showcasing their impressive skills. In the end, The Family emerged victorious, capturing the tag team titles.
In a backstage segment, Dominik Mysterio confronted Baron Corbin, expressing his desire to see Corbin become a champion. Both men expressed their frustration with Wes Lee and vowed to take him down.
The Alpha Academy made an appearance on The Supernova Sessions, hosted by Noam Dar. The Alpha Academy discussed their success and their desire to win the Heritage Cup Trophy. Noam Dar announced that Chad Gable would be the next challenger for the Heritage Cup.
In a qualifying match for the Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge, Lash Legend faced off against Roxanne Perez. The match was hard-fought, with both competitors giving it their all. In the end, Lash Legend emerged victorious, securing her spot in the Iron Survivor Challenge.
In another backstage segment, The Family had a confrontation with Angel Garza & Humberto Carrillo, leading to a brawl between the two teams.
Trick Williams and Carmelo Hayes were interviewed backstage, addressing the recent tensions between them. They clarified that their altercation was not intentional and that they are still on good terms. Trick Williams went on to qualify for the Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge, earning a hard-fought victory against Joe Coffey.
During The Warriors Tea Ceremony, Lyra Valkyria and Xia Li discussed their upcoming match for the NXT Women’s Championship. The ceremony symbolized the battle that awaits them, with Xia Li vowing to consume Lyra Valkyria.
In a match between The Brawling Brutes and OTM, The Brawling Brutes came out on top, showcasing their dominance in the ring.
Gigi Dolin faced Arianna Grace in a singles match. Dolin delivered an impressive performance, ultimately securing the victory and solidifying her presence in the women’s division.
Eddy Thorpe was interviewed backstage, discussing his recent absence and his desire to qualify for The Iron Survivor Challenge. He was interrupted by Drew Gulak and Charlie Dempsey, who challenged him to prove himself.
In the main event of the night, Wes Lee took on Baron Corbin in a hard-hitting match. Both competitors gave it their all, but in the end, Corbin emerged victorious. After the match, Ilja Dragunov made his presence known, confronting Corbin and setting the stage for their upcoming showdown.
