Impact Wrestling put on a special show on November 30, 2023, that was unlike anything else they usually do. The show, titled IPWF (Impact Provincial Wrestling Federation) Throwback Throwdown IV, was a parody of 80s wrestling with Impact regulars taking on over-the-top characters. The show had a bit of continuity from previous IPWF shows, which made for a fun and entertaining event.

The night kicked off with a match between Kamikazi and Rapid Delivery Pete. Kamikazi, portrayed by Mike Bailey, played the role of a ninja, while Rich Swann portrayed the character of a pizza delivery boy. Kamikazi used his ninja skills to intimidate Pete, but Pete fought back with armdrags and an armbar. In the end, Pete secured the victory with a splash, defeating Kamikazi in a thrilling match.

The show also featured the Fall Maul Tournament, where wrestlers and fighters from different disciplines faced off against each other. Boris Alexiev, played by Santino Marella, advanced to the finals after defeating Muscles McGhee. In a promo, Alexiev expressed his intention to defeat Tim Burr in the finals and continue his winning streak.

The reigning International Commonwealth Champion, DJ 2 Large (Moose), made an appearance, boasting about his recent title defense at Ghouls Just Want To Have Fun. He was interrupted by the $361,000 Man (RD Evans), who challenged DJ 2 Large for the title. Despite the offer of $10,000, DJ 2 Large refused the challenge in a freestyle rap. This led to a match between DJ 2 Large and the Masked Brother later in the show.

Other matches on the card included Frank The Butcher (Rhino) taking on Neptune (Shera), where Frank The Butcher emerged victorious with a clothesline. The Sunday Morning Express (Editor-In-Chief and Paper Boy) defeated the Hard Workers (Ornery Otis Oates and Hard Harry Hall) with a rollup pin. Cowboy Colt McCoy and Georgia Cobb defeated Rip Ryzor and Rusty Iron, and Tim Burr defeated Boris Alexiev in the finals of the Fall Maul Tournament with a top rope double ax handle.

The show ended with a celebration in the locker room as the wrestlers came out to commemorate a successful event.

Overall, IPWF Throwback Throwdown IV was a unique and entertaining show that showcased the talent and creativity of the Impact Wrestling roster. The parody of 80s wrestling provided a nostalgic and fun atmosphere for both the wrestlers and the audience.
