Peacock Reaches 20 Million Paid Subscribers

Comcast has announced that its Peacock streaming service has surpassed 20 million paid subscribers.

The news was delivered as the telecommunications conglomerate issued its fourth quarter earnings results on Thursday morning.

Peacock’s revenue for the entire year was $2.1 billion, $660 million of which was generated in the fourth quarter alone. Comcast saw its revenue increase 6% to $9.9 billion thanks to Peacock and their theme parks, while ad revenue rose 4% thanks to Peacock ad revenue and Spanish coverage of the World Cup on Telemundo.
