The latest episode of Smackdown took place on November 17, 2023, at the Ford Center in Evansville, Indiana. With Survivor Series just around the corner, tensions were high as the women’s WarGames match was on the horizon. The show kicked off with a recap of last week’s events, including Asuka joining Damage CTRL and turning on Charlotte and Bianca Belair.

Damage CTRL, now with Asuka, entered the ring to boast about their newfound power. Bayley expressed her excitement about having Asuka on the team, but Kai reminded everyone that Asuka hadn’t officially joined yet. Shotzi, Charlotte, and Belair interrupted, seeking revenge, but were outnumbered and quickly cleared from the ring.

In a tag team match for a shot at the Tag Team Titles next week, the Street Profits faced off against the Brawling Brutes and Pretty Deadly. After an intense back-and-forth battle, the Street Profits emerged victorious with their finishing move, Revelation, securing them the win.

The show also featured a match between Dragon Lee and Axiom, a guest star from NXT. Dragon Lee showcased his high-flying abilities and ultimately defeated Axiom with his signature move, Operation Dragon.

Santos Escobar took the spotlight to explain his actions from the previous week when he turned on Rey Mysterio and the LWO. Escobar revealed that Rey had been his hero and father figure, but he realized that Dominik Mysterio was right all along. Escobar expressed his desire to rebuild the LWO and earn the US Title shot, but Rey brought in an outsider like Carlito instead. Zelina Vega confronted Escobar and slapped him, leading to a brawl that was eventually broken up by Carlito.

Grayson Waller faced Cameron Grimes in a match, with Austin Theory on commentary. Waller emerged victorious after hitting the Dingo Driver, thanks in part to Theory’s distraction.

The Bloodline, without Roman Reigns, celebrated Solo Sikoa’s victory over John Cena at Crown Jewel. Paul Heyman taunted Cena’s absence and declared that Cena would never appear in a WWE ring again. LA Knight interrupted, claiming that the Bloodline was the only reason Reigns remained champion. Knight vowed to take out each member of the Bloodline until it was just him and Reigns.

Charlotte made a phone call in search of a fourth team member for the WarGames match. The show ended with Bianca Belair, Charlotte, and Shotzi announcing their fourth team member. Before they could reveal the name, Damage CTRL interrupted. However, Becky Lynch made a surprise appearance as the fourth member, leading to a brawl between the two teams.

In other matches, LA Knight defeated Jimmy Uso with his finishing move, BFT, and the Street Profits emerged victorious in a tag team match against the Brawling Brutes and Pretty Deadly.

Next week’s episode promises more exciting matches and developments, so be sure to tune in!
