Three top the table after second B Block night

Yamanashi played host to the second night of B Block action in World Tag League on November 24, with the main event seeing El Phantasmo and Hikuleo facing Yuya Uemura and Taichi. In their first contact n a NJPW ring, it would be Uemura starting with Phantasmo, with a crisp opening exchange giving way to Taichi and Hikuleo coming in. The Holy Emperor would try and chop down the giant tree that Hikuleo is, but after a trip to the outside for Taichi saw him eat a massive quebrada from ELP, Hikuleo took over in the ring. Despite Uemura being able to use his crisp classical offense of arm drags and a bulldog to slow Hikuleo, a big boot would be a difference maker as the STRONG Openweight Champions continued to maintain the pace.

Uemura retained his composure however, and late in the match was able to counter Godsend fromHikuleo into a DDT. When Taichi struggled in the face of ELP and Hikuleo’s offense, Uemura was there for the save, and was there to rattle a dropkick to ELP before a lariat took Hikuleo to the floor where the big man ate a plancha. That left Taichi alone with ELP, where the Seitei Jujiho thrust kick was the prelude to Black Mephisto and the three.

Having lost the B Block opening main event to ELP and Hikuleo, Bishamon were eager to get on the board against Monstersauce. That determination came through in the early moments as Hirooki Goto and YOSHI-HASHI took down both Alex Zayne and Lance Archer, but when Archer showed his power it meant trouble for Goto. The Fierce Warriopr laboured in the wrong corner until a wild lariat brought in YOSHI-HASHI, who scored the same on Zayne.

A recovered Goto would come in the plus position and hit Muramasa to Zayne, but the fast food warrior hit the Baja Blast and a crunching Taco Driver to Goto, YOSHI-HASHI just barely making the save. The match breaking down, the IWGP Tag team Champions landed the Shoto on Zayne, but Archer intervened and dragged his partner into the corner for a tag. After chokeslamming Zayne onto YOSHI-HASHI on the outside, Archer was able to catch Goto on the top rope with a huge rising knee, and followed with Blackout to put Bishamon at 0-2.

Yuji Nagata and Minoru Suzuki were still far from working well, arguing about who should start against Zandokan Jr. and Yoyta Tsuji, and allowing for an early jump by Zandokan. The two did gain control on the floor though, and despite every tag in the match being a blind one, were able to mount a fairly consistent offense against their Mexican influenced foes. It wasn’t enough to prevent Tsuji and Zandokan though, and the Vamos Amigo splash ended the night for Nagata much to Suzuki’s chagrin.

The first league match of the night would see Jack Bonza and Bad Luck Fale, the Rogue Army facing Soberano Jr. and Atlantis Jr. Soberano was quick to get early offense with a phenomenal guillotine leg to Fale, but was tortured for his efforts, stretched by Bonza and squashed by Fale. The CMLL team started to put offense together though, and after a Fosbury Flop from Soberano, Atlantis came off the
