New Home: Former WWE Star Wrestling First Match In Nearly Nine Months

She’s back? While WWE is the biggest wrestling promotion in the world, but it is far from the only promotion in the world. Some wrestlers are not good fits in WWE for one reason or another and it often has nothing to do with their talent. Occasionally one of those wrestlers is better off heading elsewhere, and now another former WWE star will be doing just that on the other side of the world.

Back in March, Sarray left WWE when her contract with the company expired. According to Wrestlingnews.co, Sarray has since announced her return to the ring, which will take place at a self promoted event called “Saree-ism”. At the event, Sarray will face Chihiro Hashimoto in Tokyo, Japan on May 16. This will be Sarray’s first match since the August 2 edition of NXT, where she lost to Mandy Rose.

Sarray did well during her limited time in NXT. Check out some of her moments there:

Opinion: It’s good to see that Sarray is getting back in the ring as she never had a fair chance in NXT. There is only so much that can be done when she was built around the idea of her transforming via a magical necklace. Hopefully things work out better for her in Japan, where she might be getting something more of a fair shot rather than dealing with whatever nonsense WWE had for her.

What did you think of Sarray’s time in NXT? Which WWE stars would do better elsewhere? Let us know in the comments below.
