That’s who he is. A wrestler’s name is one of the most important things that they can have, as the right name can take someone’s career a very long way. At the same time, having the wrong name can be a complete disaster for a career, as it can be very difficult to take someone seriously as a result. Now though, one such bad name choice seems to have been corrected.

Madcap Moss has been part of the WWE main roster since January 2020 and has had a number of storylines. One of them saw him be Happy Corbin’s official joke teller and changing his name to Madcap Moss, a name which he kept for over a year after splitting with Corbin. Now though, Moss’ WWE.com profile again lists him under the first name Riddick, though he has yet to appear on television under his old name.

Moss is certainly talented no matter what he is called. Check out his time in WWE:

Opinion: This is a correction that needed to take place, as there was no reason for Moss to keep the old name. The Madcap persona had long since been dropped and there is little future for him under that name. Let him be more himself and use his talents instead of being stuck with something that he isn’t doing anymore. It’s nice to see this change and maybe it can be the start of something better for him.

What do you think of Moss? How much will the name change help him? Let us know in the comments below.
