MLW One-Shot Update: Title Bouts and Opponents Revealed

All Elite Wrestling

MLW is fresh off Fightland, and the One-Shot card is coming into picture. The New York City event scheduled for Thursday, December 7 is loading up on Japanese talent.

The headliner revolves around the MLW World Heavyweight Championship. Alex Kane will defend the gold versus Matt Cardona. The match was finalized after Kane retained the title against Jacob Fatu, and Cardona prevailed in a Loser Leaves MLW match against Mance Warner.

The MLW Women’s World Featherweight Championship will be on the line when Janai Kai defends against Maki Itoh. I look forward to scenes of Itoh getting under the skin of Salina de la Renta.

A third title bout is on the One-Shot card for the debut of Miyu Yamashita. Former MLW women’s champion Delmi Exo called out the Ace of Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling.

Exo has her eye on the TJPW Princess of Princess Championship. MLW brokered the challenge to make it an official defense for Yamashita.
