Major League Wrestling (MLW) has announced an exciting crossover event with New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) that will kick off at the Fury Road event on September 3rd. This collaboration between two powerhouse promotions is set to deliver some incredible dream matches for fans around the world.
The announcement was made on the latest episode of MLW’s FUSION, and it has already become the talk of the wrestling world. MLW CEO Court Bauer expressed his excitement about the partnership, stating, “New Japan is a true dynasty in Japanese combat sports, and this crossover will give fans true dream matches.”
The first NJPW wrestler to enter the MLW ring will be revealed in the coming days, adding to the anticipation surrounding the event. Fury Road will be streamed live and exclusively on FITE+ on Sunday, September 3rd.
The Fury Road card is stacked with thrilling matchups, including a World Heavyweight Championship match between Alex Kane and Willie Mack. The National Openweight Championship will be on the line in a Weapons of Mass Destruction Match between Jacob Fatu and Rickey Shane Page.
Another unique contest on the card is a Kiss My Foot Match between Matt Cardona, accompanied by MSL, and Mance Warner. The winner of the match between Maki Itoh and B3CCA will receive a title shot, adding an extra level of competition to the event.
But that’s not all! The Fury Road card also features an NJPW vs. MLW match, pitting “Hot Sauce” Tracy Williams against Ichiban. With such a diverse lineup of matches, Fury Road promises to be an unforgettable night for wrestling fans.
In addition to the crossover matches, the event will also include FUSION TV Taping Bouts, such as a Street Fight between AKIRA and Jimmy Lloyd, and a triple threat match between Kevin Blackwood, Alec Price, and TJ Crawford.
