Mark Briscoe paid tribute to his late brother Jay Briscoe by winning his debut match on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite. The main event of the latest show saw Mark pick up a victory over Jay Lethal in a tribute match to his brother who passed away last week.
Immediately after the match, the AEW locker room came out on stage to celebrate the life of Jay Briscoe. Jay died in a car accident in Laurel, Delaware on January 17th, eight days before his 39th birthday and one day before his brother’s 38th birthday. His daughters, who were in the car with him, suffered serious injuries.
