Bad words. There are a lot of factors that come together to make a WWE event work. While the wrestling in the ring and backstage segments are the most prominent, there is also the commentary team, who guide the fans through the events. They can tell you quite a few things about what you are watching, but it turns out that there are other things that they cannot say.

Over the years, there have been stories of words that either WWE or Vince McMahon did not want said on the company’s programming. This would be the case for wrestlers and commentators alike. Former WWE writer David Schilling revealed the list on Twitter, though some of these words have been allowed under the new WWE regime. There is no word on when this list was up to date, though Schilling worked for WWE from February – April 2019.
WWE has banned some things over the years. Check out a few of them:
Opinion: There are some interesting entries on that list, as a few of them make sense but others seem rather confusing at best. Some of the terms that WWE frowned upon were downright baffling at times and to see them all written out is even stranger. WWE must have seen some reason to keep them out though, as they certainly spent some time writing them down.
