The Best of the Super Jr. 30 semifinal card is set for May 26, featuring El Desperado vs Titan in the main event. El Desperado, who placed first in the B Block, has a 1-0 singles record against Titan, the A Block runner up. Fans can attend live by purchasing tickets on the English ticketing site or watch live on NJPW World for free. Desperado, who was once helped by Titan during his excursion in Mexico, expressed his gratitude towards Titan’s kindness after winning the B block of the Best of the Super Junior tournament. However, he made it clear that he would never face Titan in the ring. Desperado is now in a position to advance further than his previous attempts, while Titan aims to make history as the first Mexican to reach the finals in 25 years. In another semifinal match, Master Wato faces Mike Bailey, the A block winner. Bailey and Master Wato are both putting up strong performances in the NJPW junior heavyweight tournament, with Bailey having the chance to win on his first attempt since Will Ospreay in 2016. Meanwhile, Wato has been impressing with his Tsutenkaku German move, winning seven out of nine matches. The question remains as to who will advance to the Ota final. In a separate match, Just 5 Guys will face off against Los Ingobernables De Japon, with IWGP World heavyweight Champion SANADA present but his next challenger absent. The possibility of Yota Tsuji being a part of LIJ and his wrestling style remain unclear, as he is set to face the world heavyweight champion at Dominion June 4. Meanwhile, SANADA will face his former LIJ teammates in an eight-man semi-main event. The NEVER Six-man Championship team of Tomohiro Ishii, Hiroshi Tanahashi, and Kazuchika Okada will face a new generation combination of Shota Umino, Boltin Oleg, and Oskar Leube in a non-championship match. Okada is expected to be in a serious mood after his recent loss in Long Beach and will not be taking the match lightly. Umino and Jon Moxley will soon be competing against Okada at Dominion, but in the meantime, Umino will be fighting alongside two young rising stars. The 4th match at Dominion will feature a long-standing feud between CHAOS and HOUSE OF TORTURE, as they battle for the IWGP Tag Team Championships. The match was originally set for a three-way fight, but after the titles were vacated by Aussie Open, the hopes of the world will be on Bishamon to become three-time IWGP champions. An eight-man action will set the stage for the main match. The night’s event will feature several matches, including Ryusuke Taguchi, Kevin Knight, and KUSHIDA taking on the United Empire in a battle of heart, technique, and force. Also, Tomoaki Honma and Toru Yano will face off against Aaron Henare and Great-O-Khan, showcasing heavyweight power in strikes and grappling. Viewers can tune in to watch these matches and more. Tonight, TMDK consisting of Kosei Fujita and Robbie Eagles will face Honma and Yano for a statement win before the G1 Climax 33 announcements. In the first match, BULLET CLUB’s Gedo and Clark Connors will take on TMDK, with Connors seeking revenge against Eagles for exploiting his rage during the BOSJ 30 tournament.
