Maybe? Speculation Over Former Champion Leaving WWE Following Summerslam

No more? There are some very talented wrestlers in the world and some of them are rather high level stars. It can make a big difference to have one of them on the card, as their star power alone may draw in some more fans. Now though, we might not be able to see a rather big star, as she might have wrapped up her latest WWE run following a rather unique loss for her.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: It Didn’t Quite Work: Details On Backstage Disagreements Over Summerslam Match Planning

Over the weekend at Summerslam, Ronda Rousey lost to Shayna Baszler via submission in a mixed martial arts rules match. The loss was Rousey’s first ever WWE loss via submission. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, there is a chance that this will be Rousey’s final match in WWE, with the theory being that Rousey lost by submission to her friend for the first time. This is seen as speculation, though Rousey has been rumored to be leaving WWE soon in recent months.

Rousey has had a successful WWE run. Check out what she has done:

Opinion: It doesn’t seem to be a secret that Rousey is going to be gone from WWE in the near future and Summerslam being her final appearance would not surprise me either. At the end of the day, Rousey could not go out much better than this as she put Baszler over in a big way. Rousey’s second WWE run was hit and miss most of the time, but at least it had a solid ending.

What do you think of the idea? Will Rousey wrestle again? Let us know in the comments below.
