Former WWE superstar Heath Slater’s future with Impact Wrestling is uncertain as his contract is set to expire in October, according to a report from Fightful Select. As of now, no new deal has been reached, leaving the door open for Slater to become a free agent.
After spending 14 years with WWE, Slater made his debut for Impact at Slammiversary 2020 and has been with the company ever since. During his time in Impact, he held the Impact World Tag Team Titles with Rhino on one occasion. Slater’s most recent singles match on Impact was a victory over Alan Angels on the August 3 episode.
With his contract set to expire next month, Slater’s future in professional wrestling is uncertain. Will he re-sign with Impact Wrestling or explore other opportunities as a free agent? Only time will tell.
