The latest episode of WWE Monday Night RAW kicked off with a video montage recapping the action from the recent premium live event, WWE Payback. The crowd in Charlotte, North Carolina was buzzing with anticipation as the show got underway.

The opening segment featured Jey Uso and Sami Zayn in the ring. Jey Uso expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to be on Monday Night RAW and explained that he is now on his own after teaming with his family for so long. Sami Zayn joined the conversation and expressed his respect for Jey, acknowledging the difficult decision he made to break free from his family. The two wrestlers ended the segment with a heartfelt hug, showing their mutual respect for each other.

One of the highlights of the night was a match between Drew McIntyre & Matt Riddle and The Viking Raiders. The match was a tornado tag team match, with all four competitors in the ring at the same time. The Viking Raiders ultimately emerged victorious, picking up the win over McIntyre and Riddle.

The show also featured a confrontation between Seth Rollins and Shinsuke Nakamura. Rollins called out Nakamura for a World Championship rematch, but Nakamura refused. The two wrestlers then engaged in a brawl, which was eventually broken up by producers and security. Ricochet also got involved in the altercation, coming to the aid of Rollins.

In another match, Shayna Baszler faced off against Zoey Stark. Baszler emerged victorious, defeating Stark with her signature submission move, the Kirifuda Clutch. Baszler showed respect to Stark after the match, giving her a fist bump.

The Judgment Day faction, consisting of Damian Priest, Dominik Mysterio, Finn Balor, and Rhea Ripley, also had a segment on the show. They celebrated their recent victories and accomplishments, with Balor thanking JD McDonagh for having his back. McDonagh then presented Priest with a custom Money in the Bank briefcase.

Other matches on the card included Raquel Rodriguez defeating Chelsea Green, JD McDonagh defeating Sami Zayn, and Gunther successfully defending his WWE Intercontinental Championship against Chad Gable.

Next week’s episode of RAW will feature Cody Rhodes as a special guest.
