However, the chaos caused by the other Battle Royal competitors worked in Knight’s favor, allowing him to hit his finishing move, the Blunt Force Trauma, and secure the victory.
The Street Profits made a statement on SmackDown when they attacked The Brawling Brutes and The O.C. Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins unleashed their fury on all four Superstars, leaving chaos in their wake. The attack was instigated by “The All Mighty” Bobby Lashley, who had a score to settle with The Brawling Brutes and The O.C. This unexpected assault resulted in a no-contest, leaving everyone involved battered and bruised.
Austin Theory proved why he is the United States Champion as he defeated Cameron Grimes in a non-title match. Theory faced adversity early on when Grimes hit him with a Cave-In, taking advantage of Theory’s distraction caused by Santos Escobar. However, Theory showed resilience and managed to turn the tables, ultimately hitting his finisher, the A-Town Down, to secure the victory.
In a hotly contested singles matchup, Zelina Vega emerged victorious against Ms. Money in the Bank IYO SKY. SKY showcased her high-flying and unorthodox style, systematically dismantling Vega. However, the match took an unexpected turn when Shotzi and Bayley began brawling on the stage, distracting SKY. Vega capitalized on the opportunity, delivering a powerbomb and the Code Red to claim the win.
Jey Uso sent a clear message to his cousin Roman Reigns ahead of their Undisputed WWE Universal Championship Match at SummerSlam. Uso defeated Solo Sikoa using Reigns’ own move, the Spear. Sikoa put up a valiant fight but fell victim to Uso’s thunderous superkick, followed by a bone-rattling Spear and an Uso Splash. This victory sets the stage for the highly anticipated clash between Uso and Reigns at SummerSlam.
