AEW Rampage Results: Blackpool Combat Club Defeats Best Friends in a Parking Lot Fight
It was an action-packed episode of AEW Rampage, and the main event did not disappoint. Blackpool Combat Club (Jon Moxley & Claudio Castagnoli) took on Best Friends (Chuck Taylor & Trent Beretta) in a Parking Lot Fight that had fans on the edge of their seats.
The match started with both teams searching for weapons in the parking lot. Blackpool Combat Club was looking for Orange Cassidy, but he was nowhere to be found. The fight quickly escalated as Moxley jabbed a fork into Trent’s forehead, and Trent retaliated by jumping off the roof of a car onto Moxley with the fork.
The intensity continued to rise as Claudio ripped off a car spoiler and used it to smash Chuck over the back. The Best Friends fought back, launching Claudio into the back of a car. Chuck then returned the favor by smashing the spoiler on Claudio’s back.
Blackpool Combat Club raised a car hood and threw Trent inside, repeatedly ramming the hood up and down on his body. Moxley disappeared momentarily, but returned with a garbage can, using it as a weapon. Chuck found a street sign and blasted Blackpool Combat Club with it.
The fight took a brutal turn as Claudio was thrown into a windshield, shattering it. Moxley suplexed Chuck onto a guardrail, showcasing the raw power and aggression of both teams.
As the battle raged on, Moxley and Trent engaged in a hockey fight on the hood of a car. Moxley delivered a devastating Death Rider onto the windshield. Chuck then lit a barbed wire board on fire after siphoning gas from a car.
The unexpected arrival of Wheeler Yuta added another twist to the match. Chuck hesitated to attack Yuta, allowing Moxley to take advantage and smash Chuck with a weapon. Yuta retaliated by ramming a screwdriver into Chuck’s face.
But the surprises didn’t end there. Trent’s mom, Sue, drove Orange Cassidy into the parking lot, only to be attacked by all three members of Blackpool Combat Club. Yuta delivered a DDT to Cassidy onto Sue’s van, and they forced Sue to leave.
Blackpool Combat Club then attempted to destroy Sue’s van with weapons, while Moxley continued his assault on Trent’s head, ultimately securing the pinfall victory.
This Parking Lot Fight was a chaotic and brutal encounter that showcased the intensity and creativity of both teams. The match was a testament to the innovation and excitement that AEW brings to professional wrestling.
AEW Rampage also featured other exciting matches, including Keith Lee & The Hardys defeating The Blade, Kip Sabian, and The Butcher. Anna Jay also emerged victorious against Skye Blue.
