Bryan Danielson, also known as the American Dragon, recently spoke out about his commitment to stepping up for Tony Khan and All Elite Wrestling (AEW) when they need it. During the AEW All Out media scrum, Danielson subtly addressed the backstage drama that had been surrounding the company following the CM Punk incident at All In.
As a member of the Blackpool Combat Club (BCC) and a close friend of Tony Khan, Danielson understands the importance of stepping up in both real life and storyline situations. He praised Jon Moxley for consistently carrying the torch for AEW when needed.
“One of the ethics that I believe in is you step up when you need to step up. It’s interesting when you’re crossing between real life and story, but we as the BCC, as a collective, who are real friends, we take stepping up seriously, whether that is in story or real life. Nobody is a better example of that than Jon Moxley, who has stepped up every time we’ve needed him to,” Danielson said.
For Danielson and the BCC, stepping up for Tony Khan is a way of life. They are always ready to lend a hand and support the company in any way they can. Whether it’s in creative decisions, performing in matches like the recent strap match at All Out, or any other task, they are dedicated to helping AEW succeed.
During the media scrum, Danielson also discussed his victory over Ricky Starks in the strap match at All Out. To read more about his thoughts on the match and Starks’ contributions, click here.
