The apple doesn’t fall far from the General Sherman-sized family tree in the Lesnar brood as the daughter of former WWE and UFC Champion Brock Lesnar is making headlines and dominating sports just like her old man.

Recently, Mya Lesnar, a junior at Colorado State University, was named the Mountain West’s Women’s Field Athlete of the Week after setting a new school record in shot put and winning first place in weight throw, achieving a remarkable 21.11m. Her throw of 18.50m surpassed the previous record of 17.55m, propelling her to the number one spot among Colorado State’s top 20. With her achievement, Lesnar leads the nation in women’s indoor shot put.

Thanks to her record-breaking performance, Mya has caught this writer’s attention, who doesn’t typically follow the personal lives of wrestlers or their offspring unless something noteworthy occurs, such as Mya’s recent accomplishment.

In my research, I found nothing to indicate that she plans to follow in her father’s footsteps into combat sports or sports entertainment. But after seeing her in a photo where she cuts an intimidating pose like her dear old dad, I am ready for Mya Lesnar to headline night two of WrestleMania against Rhea Ripley next year in Philadelphia.
