WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Sonya Deville has suffered a serious injury and will be out of action for several months. Deville tore her ACL during a match on July 28th on SmackDown, where she and partner Chelsea Green faced off against Charlotte Flair and Bianca Belair. TMZ Sports has reported that Deville is scheduled to undergo knee surgery on Tuesday.

This injury is considered significant, and there is currently no set timetable for Deville’s return to the ring. Since the match on SmackDown, she has not competed in any further bouts. WWE will address the status of the Women’s Tag Team Titles during tonight’s post-SummerSlam edition of RAW. Deville and Green had just begun their first reign as champions on July 17th on RAW, defeating Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan.
