America’s Most Wanted, the legendary tag team consisting of James Storm and Chris Harris, is set to make a special appearance at Impact Wrestling’s 1000th episode. The duo will be reuniting for the momentous occasion, which is sure to be a treat for wrestling fans worldwide.
Storm and Harris were among the former Impact stars invited to the Impact 1000 Fan Celebration. Now, it has been officially announced that they will be part of the Impact 1000 special. While there is no confirmation on who they will be facing in the ring, their presence alone is enough to generate excitement among fans.
Managed by Impact Hall of Famer Gail Kim during their time in the original TNA, America’s Most Wanted achieved great success as a tag team. They held the NWA World Tag Team Titles on six occasions, showcasing their dominance in the division. Their last team-up took place at Impact Against All Odds in July 2022, where they joined forces with The Good Brothers and Heath for a 10-man victory over the Honor No More stable.
Although they have competed against each other in singles and multi-man matches, AMW’s last standard tag team bout was on December 11, 2006, against then-NWA World Tag Team Champions LAX. The reunion of Storm and Harris is a highly anticipated moment for fans who have been longing to see them back in action together.
The 1000th episode of Impact is scheduled to air on Thursday, September 14, as the post-Victory Road show. The special event will be taped on Saturday, September 9, at the Westchester County Center in White Plains, NY. Additionally, Impact will be recording extra episodes that night to lead up to Bound For Glory on Saturday, October 21.
