The last person you want mad. While he might not be the most popular name in the world at times, Vince McMahon is the most influential person in WWE history. He can make or break a wrestler’s career and getting on his bad side is one of the worst things that someone can do. Now a former WWE star is explaining what caused him to be in serious trouble with McMahon.

Former WWE star Brad Maddox appeared on the Wrestling With Rip Rogers podcast and revealed what caused him to be released from WWE. Maddox mentioned that he was taking part in a dark match in Indianapolis on November 24, 2015 and referred to the fans as “cocky pri**s” on the way to the ring. As a result, McMahon kicked him out of the building and he was released the next day. Maddox also revealed that he had been scheduled to begin teaming with Adam Rose around this time. Since his release from WWE, Maddox has only wrestled once, with his last match coming in 2016.

Opinion: This might seem a bit harsh but if Maddox went against a rule that McMahon had made or did something that he didn’t like, there is not much else he could expect. At the end of the day, Maddox was not exactly a top level star at this point and McMahon just letting him go instead of taking time to work anything out is not the most surprising. Maddox does seem to have learned a bit from his firing so maybe he has grown a bit over the years.
