AEW has a lot of title belts in the mix, but now there will be two less. A pair of AEW wrestlers lost their gold at the AAA Guerra de Titanes event in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua.

Say it isn’t so. QT Marshall is no longer the AAA Latin American champion after losing to Octagon Jr.

QT held the AAA Latin American Championship with pride defending around the world. He even broke the record for most defenses of that title. AEW appeared to be crafting a story for future QT matches, however, his run as the greatest wrestler of Latin America is over.

It seems there is one man to blame, the dastardly Pentagon Jr. The feud between QT and Penta escalated to an ambulance match in which QT earned victory with help from Aaron Solo. The bad blood remained, and they even had a recent skirmish on AEW grounds.

At AAA Guerra de Titanes (War of Titans), Pentagon stuck his nose in QT’s business against Octagon Jr. with the Latin American title on the line. Penta was present as the second to support Octagon, and he made his presence felt by smashing a beer bottle on QT’s head. Octagon pounced for a Destroyer and a 450 splash to win. Pentagon’s interference wasn’t undeserved, since Sam Adonis was running amok to help QT.
