Massive AEW Dynamite Grand Slam Go-Home Show Sets Ratings on Fire!

AEW Dynamite’s Grand Slam go-home show drew a solid audience of 888,000 viewers on TBS this week, according to Nielsen via Wrestlenomics. This represents a slight increase of 0.11% from last week’s episode, which had 887,000 viewers.

In the key 18-49 demographic, this week’s Dynamite maintained a rating of 0.31, the same as last week. This rating translates to approximately 402,000 viewers from the 18-49 age group. However, there was a slight decrease of 1.71% in the number of viewers from this demographic compared to last week.

Despite the slight decline in the 18-49 key demo viewers, AEW Dynamite still managed to secure the top spot among cable shows for the night. Last week, the show ranked second in this category, so this is a positive development for AEW.

This week’s episode of Dynamite marked the highest total audience since the 200th episode on August 2. Although it was the thirteenth-highest total audience of the year so far, it fell below the 2022 averages. The viewership was up by 0.11% from last week, while the 18-49 key demo rating remained steady.

Compared to the same week in 2022, this week’s Dynamite viewership experienced a decline of 24.42%, while the key demo rating dropped by 20.51%. It’s worth noting that the 2022 episode was also the Grand Slam go-home show, making this year’s numbers even more significant.

The Grand Slam go-home edition of AEW Dynamite, which aired live from the Heritage Bank Center in Cincinnati, OH, featured an exciting lineup of matches and segments. Some of the highlights included promos from Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara, Don Callis unveiling his next masterpiece, and a non-title finals match between Roderick Strong and Samoa Joe.

AEW Dynamite has been consistently delivering engaging content and captivating storylines, which has contributed to its success in the ratings. With the Grand Slam event just around the corner, fans can expect even more thrilling moments and surprises from AEW.
