WWE has just announced that the 2024 Royal Rumble will be held at Tropicana Field in Tampa, Florida. This exciting news was revealed on Wednesday and has already generated a lot of buzz among wrestling fans.
The Royal Rumble, one of WWE’s most anticipated events, will take place on Saturday, January 27, 2024. This will be followed by Monday Night Raw on January 29 at Amalie Arena in Tampa. It’s worth noting that this will be the first time since 1995 that the Royal Rumble will be held in Tampa Bay in front of live fans.

With the collaboration between WWE and Tampa Bay, this event is expected to be a phenomenal regional effort, spanning Pinellas and Hillsborough Counties. Rob Higgins, Tampa Bay Sports Commission Executive Director, emphasized their commitment to creating a memorable weekend for the WWE Universe, saying, “Together, we’re focused on making sure that WWE Universe is treated to a weekend that’s filled with memories that last a lifetime.”
The Royal Rumble is known for its 30-man and 30-woman matches, where the winners earn a Championship match opportunity at WrestleMania 40. This year’s Royal Rumble in San Antonio, Texas, was a record-breaking success for WWE, becoming the highest-grossing and most-viewed Royal Rumble in company history.
