That was fast. There are all kinds of things that can keep a wrestler on the shelf and some of them are a lot more serious than others. The idea of a wrestler not being medically cleared for one reason or another can be rather scary, but it is quite the relief when you see them make a comeback. That was the case again this week and as luck would have it, this one came pretty quickly.

Last week on Monday Night Raw, Chelsea Green announced that her WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship partner Piper Niven was not medically cleared to compete. However, Niven returned this week and said that she was medically cleared. This lines up with reports from last week saying that Niven had a short term illness and was not expected to be out of action long.

Opinion: That is quite the relief as you never want to see someone out of action for any length of time. Add in the titles’ reputation of being cursed and this could have been a much worse situation. Niven is someone who feels like she could be a star if she had an extended, uninterrupted WWE run but that has not exactly been the case so far. Maybe this is the time, as it would be a welcome change.
