The final promotion. WWE has a unique situation as the company is able to run its own developmental system. With NXT, WWE gets to build up its own future generation, which can help them repopulate their roster whenever they need to. It can mean a lot when a wrestler is able to move up to the main roster and now WWE seems to have their eyes on a brand new star.

According to PWInsider.com by way of Wrestlingheadlines.com, NXT’s Zoey Stark will be working on upcoming WWE live events in triple threat matches involving Sonya Deville and SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte. The idea is for WWE to see how Stark handles working in front of larger crowds. There is nothing to suggest that Stark will be promoted to the main roster anytime soon but WWE does want another look at her.

Opinion: This might not be something yet but it could turn out to be the first step for Stark getting onto the main roster. Stark has done well during her time in NXT and that often means getting a promotion in the future. She could wind up being quite the star on the main roster and has to start somewhere, so wrestling some main roster matches could be the place to start.
