UE Roll Call Ends the Night as Cobb Beats Odds

The main event in Korakuen Hall on September 9th showcased an intense elimination match between United Empire and Los Ingobernables De Japon. The teams consisted of Shingo Takagi, Tetsuya Naito, Yota Tsuji, Hiromu Takahashi, and BUSHI facing off against Will Ospreay, Jeff Cobb, Great-O-Khan, HENARE, and Callum Newman. The match was full of high-energy action and unexpected twists, making it a must-watch for any professional wrestling fan.

The match kicked off with a spectacular exchange between Tsuji and Ospreay, setting the tone for the rest of the bout. Ospreay, known for his rivalry with Hiromu Takahashi, resumed their feud, but despite a double team with Tsuji, Takahashi found himself trapped in the United Empire corner. O-Khan even went so far as to sit on Takahashi, inflicting pain and humiliation. However, after landing a DDT on HENARE, Takahashi finally managed to tag in Naito.

Naito and Takagi were both thrown across the ring by Cobb, who then tagged in Newman. The Prince of Pace lived up to his nickname, delivering effective strikes on Shingo. However, Takagi retaliated with a devastating Pumping Bomber, resulting in the first elimination of the match.

O-Khan tried to even the scores but was unable to secure a quick pinfall or submission. Instead, he engaged in a striking exchange with Takagi, ultimately knocking him to the mat with a hard fist to the face. O-Khan used his Iron Claw to bring Takagi to the apron, but a well-timed low bridge brought both competitors to the outside. In a stunning turn of events, an Eliminator on the apron led to a double elimination, leaving LIJ at a 4-3 disadvantage.

HENARE was the next to go, as BUSHI managed to avoid his Justice Knee and send the Face of Fury over the top rope. However, BUSHI’s celebration was short-lived, as he was swiftly eliminated by a quick Hidden Blade from Ospreay. Despite these eliminations, LIJ still held a 3-2 advantage with Tsuji and Ospreay continuing their exchanges.

Ospreay and Cobb worked together to isolate Tsuji, but the young wrestler fought back despite the odds. Ospreay delivered a powerful powerbomb in the center of the ring, but Naito and Hiromu intervened, breaking up the pin. Tsuji managed to shove Ospreay over the top rope, but Ospreay miraculously saved himself by “skinning the cat” and landing on the apron. Tsuji then executed a brutal Curb Stomp from the apron to the floor, resulting in another double elimination.

With the odds stacked against him, Cobb lifted Hiromu into a powerbomb over the top rope onto his LIJ teammates. Now, it was a one-on-one showdown between Cobb and Naito. Naito attempted to spike Cobb with Esperanza and a DDT, but Cobb proved resilient. A close call came when Cobb nearly went over the top rope due to a low bridge, but he recovered and unleashed a Naito-like corner combination before sealing the deal with a big dropkick. As a final act of dominance, the United Empire performed a roll call for Cobb, rubbing salt in the wounds of LIJ.
