WWE Monday Night RAW Results 7/31/2023

The SummerSlam go-home edition of WWE RAW opened with a graphic in memory of “Exotic” Adrian Street, who passed away on July 24 at the age of 82. The show took place at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.

Logan Paul came out to the ring and insulted the fans, stating that he was only there for his match against Ricochet at SummerSlam. Ricochet interrupted and confronted Paul, leading to a physical altercation between the two.

In another segment, Imperium expressed their disappointment with Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci for their actions in a previous match. WWE Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER vowed to end Drew McIntyre at SummerSlam.

Matt Riddle faced off against Ludwig Kaiser, with Kaiser ultimately coming out victorious. After the match, GUNTHER joined Kaiser in the ring to celebrate.

Maxxine Dupri made her singles debut against Valhalla, with Dupri emerging as the winner. Alpha Academy celebrated Dupri’s victory.

The Judgment Day – Finn Balor, Damian Priest, Dominik Mysterio, and Rhea Ripley – cut a promo, asserting their dominance and challenging anyone who dares to stand in their way. Raquel Rodriguez interrupted and attacked Ripley, leading to a brawl between the two.

A video package was shown highlighting the upcoming match between Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler, which will now be held under MMA Rules at SummerSlam.

Shinsuke Nakamura faced off against Tommaso Ciampa, with Nakamura emerging as the winner. Bronson Reed was shown watching the match backstage.

Brock Lesnar came out to the ring and issued a challenge to Cody Rhodes for their match at SummerSlam. Cody accepted the challenge, but Lesnar attacked him, leaving him battered and bruised.

WWE Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER faced off against Chad Gable in a non-title match, with GUNTHER winning. GUNTHER issued a warning to Drew McIntyre, promising to end him at SummerSlam.

Becky Lynch called out Trish Stratus for a rematch, but their match was interrupted by Zoey Stark. The match ended in a disqualification when Stark attacked Lynch. Trish and Stark double-teamed Lynch, with Trish hitting her with a chair.

The main event featured Seth Rollins and Sami Zayn facing off against Damian Priest and Dominik Mysterio. Rollins and Zayn emerged victorious, with The Judgment Day looking on from ringside.

That concludes the final RAW before SummerSlam.
