NHL legend Darren McCarty is set to return to the wrestling ring for the first time since April at Slammiversary Fallout on July 16th. McCarty, who recently served as the Special Enforcer in a grudge match at Slammiversary, will team up with Tommy Dreamer to take on Champagne Singh and Shera in a tag team showdown.
The match was made official after Champagne Singh revealed in a digital exclusive clip that he is now in possession of McCarty’s four Stanley Cup Championship Rings. Singh challenged McCarty to find a partner for a tag team match, and Dreamer stepped up to back McCarty on social media.
McCarty took to Twitter to express his gratitude to Dreamer for having his back and vowed to smash Singh’s face in so he won’t be able to kiss anyone’s rings. He also expressed his desire to get to the bottom of whose rings Singh actually stole.
After the intense action at Slammiversary, the battle is far from over. Slammiversary Fallout, taking place at the St. Clair College Sportsplex in Windsor, will feature all your favorite IMPACT stars in action.
