AEW Rampage Preview for July 14, 2023
This Friday night, AEW Rampage is set to deliver another action-packed episode, featuring the last Semi-Final bout in the Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament, a tag team match, a singles match, and much more! Here’s a preview of what to expect:
The Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament Semi-Final:
ROH Women’s World Champion “The Fallen Goddess” Athena will face off against Willow Nightingale in a highly anticipated rematch. Originally scheduled to take place last week, the match was postponed due to an injury sustained by Willow Nightingale. Both competitors will be looking to secure a spot in the finals and face Ruby Soho less than 24 hours later on Collision. This match promises to be intense, as Willow Nightingale aims to rebound from her recent championship loss and prove herself against Athena.
Tag Team Bout:
Naturally Limitless, consisting of Dustin Rhodes and Keith Lee, will take on The Jericho Appreciation Society (Angelo Parker and Matt Menard). While Dustin Rhodes and Keith Lee have formed a formidable tag team, they will face a tough challenge in the experienced duo of Parker and Menard. The match is expected to showcase the veteran knowledge and power of Naturally Limitless against the finely tuned tag team chemistry of The Jericho Appreciation Society.
Singles Match:
“The Murderhawk Monster” Lance Archer will go head-to-head with Trent Beretta. Lance Archer has been on an impressive tour, competing in various promotions and tournaments. Trent Beretta, on the other hand, has been seeking a victory to get his AEW career back on track. This will be their first singles encounter, adding an extra layer of motivation for both competitors. Trent Beretta will be looking to secure a significant win, while Lance Archer aims to continue his dominance.
Takeshita in Action:
Konosuke Takeshita, dubbed “The New God of Professional Wrestling” by Don Callis, will be in action on Rampage. With the Blood & Guts cage match approaching, Takeshita will step into the ring to either get into the right headspace or send a message to The Golden Elite. This will be a crucial match for Takeshita as he prepares for the intense battle ahead.

AEW Women’s World Champion Toni Storm, fresh off her successful title defense against Willow Nightingale, will address the audience on Rampage. Following their tainted victory over The Elite last week, The Dark Order, represented by Evil Uno, Alex Reynolds, and John Silver, will address the audience on Rampage. They will likely discuss their current standing with Hangman Page and The Elite, and whether their friendship with Page remains intact. This segment promises to shed light on the complex dynamics within The Dark Order.
