The Bellas Open Up About Their Disconnect with WWE

The Bella Twins, Nikki and Brie, recently opened up about their feelings toward WWE in a joint interview with People. Brie expressed that she and her sister no longer felt energetically aligned with the company.

“We got to a point where we just didn’t feel energetically aligned anymore with the WWE,” Brie said.

Nikki echoed her sister’s sentiment and added that it has been amazing for them to explore other opportunities outside of wrestling.

“There was a moment where her and I looked at each other and kind of felt, ‘You know what? We’re all not seeing eye to eye anymore.’ We didn’t even have to say it, we could just look at each other and feel it,” Nikki shared. “We get sad at times to not be a part of what the women are doing over there, and we will always support our women of the WWE, but it’s been amazing to be in meetings or have these opportunities and be able to say ‘yes’ or ‘no’ for yourself, and not to have to go and ask, ‘Hey, we really want to do this opportunity, can we?’ We’re in this place of reclaiming our power and making our own decisions and not having to ask permission. It’s crazy to feel that at 39.”

The Bella Twins, known for their successful wrestling careers, have also ventured into other projects. In October, it was announced that they would be hosting a new Amazon reality series called Twin Love. The show is set to provide a glimpse into their personal lives and the bond they share as sisters. You can watch the trailer for Twin Love here.

While the Bella Twins may no longer feel energetically aligned with WWE, their impact on women’s wrestling cannot be denied. They have been trailblazers in the industry, helping to elevate the status of women’s wrestling and paving the way for future generations. Their contributions to WWE will always be remembered and celebrated.
