Shinsuke Nakamura Drops Bombshell: Seth Rollins’ Clearance Questioned, Epic Showdown Scheduled for WWE RAW

Shinsuke Nakamura delivered a shocking revelation on tonight’s episode of RAW, stating that WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins is not medically cleared to compete. This revelation comes after weeks of build-up between Nakamura and Rollins, with Nakamura targeting Rollins’ bad back as a weakness.

The program between Nakamura and Rollins began with Nakamura exposing Rollins’ injury on the August 21 episode of RAW. Rollins admitted to having two fractures in his lumbar spine and expressed uncertainty about how long he can continue performing at his current level. Despite his injury, Rollins managed to defeat Nakamura and retain his title at WWE Payback on September 2. However, Nakamura sought revenge and attacked Rollins after the match, leaving him incapacitated.

Last week on RAW, Rollins challenged Nakamura to a rematch, but Nakamura declined the title shot. Instead, Nakamura faced off against Ricochet in singles action, but the match ended in a disqualification when Nakamura used a steel chair. Rollins attempted to intervene, but Nakamura gained the upper hand until Ricochet came to Rollins’ aid with a chair. In a post-show interview, Nakamura declared that he would decide when and how he breaks Rollins down to claim the WWE World Heavyweight Title.

During tonight’s RAW, Rollins once again called out Nakamura for a fight. However, Nakamura appeared on the big screen and was shown attacking Ricochet backstage, launching him into production cases and delivering a brutal beatdown. Nakamura then addressed Rollins, revealing that he had discovered Rollins is not medically cleared to compete. Despite this revelation, Nakamura made it clear that he still intends to take the WWE World Heavyweight Title from Rollins, but not tonight. He proceeded to attack Ricochet once again, with Rollins helplessly watching from the ring.

In response to Nakamura’s actions, WWE announced a match between Nakamura and Ricochet for next week’s episode of RAW. This will be the fourth televised singles bout between the two wrestlers. Their first encounter on the June 5 episode of RAW ended in a no contest due to interference from Bronson Reed. Ricochet then defeated Nakamura by pinfall on the June 26 episode of RAW, and in their most recent match, Ricochet won by disqualification due to Nakamura’s use of a steel chair.

Next week’s RAW from the Delta Center in Salt Lake City will also feature a big match between Jey Uso and Drew McIntyre, as reported by Wrestling Headlines.
