Sheamus Expresses WWE Creative Frustration After Huge Matches: Valid Concerns

It happened twice. There are all kinds of talented wrestlers in WWE but unfortunately there are only so many spots to use all of them. At some point a few of those wrestlers are going to be left out of WWE’s plans for one reason or another and it can lead to some frustrations. We are now getting to hear about some of those issues from one of the most decorated stars in WWE history.

Back at Clash At The Castle, Sheamus unsuccessfully challenged Gunther for the Intercontinental Title in a match that was ranked the second best of the year by WWE. In an interview with the Daily Star, Sheamus said he was bothered with WWE’s creative after the match, saying that he had so much “organic momentum” but it never went anywhere. Sheamus said the same thing happened after WrestleMania 39 as Drew McIntyre left with an injury and Sheamus had nothing to do. He went on to say that he has not lost his passion for wrestling and as long as he can still go in the ring, he’ll go until the wheels fall off.

Sheamus is still a force in WWE. Check out what he can do:

Opinion: Sheamus does have a point here as the Gunther match, as well as the WrestleMania match, was so well received and it is a little strange that he had nothing to do after. While he might not be the most complex character in the world (and that isn’t meant as a bad thing), Sheamus is someone who can be put into a variety of spots and given something to do. I’m glad he’s sticking around and it would be nice to see him do some more in the future.
