Seth Rollins Addresses WWE Fans’ CM Punk Chants During Live Event

At a recent WWE live event in Utica, New York, Seth Rollins successfully defended his World Heavyweight Title against Shinsuke Nakamura. However, the crowd had a different superstar on their minds as they started chanting for CM Punk.

In response to the chants, Rollins had this to say:

“Excuse me, who’s that? Wait, the serious question is, was that guy on the show tonight? No, hey, maybe one of these days he’ll grow a set and he’ll come up here to Utica, New York. He’s the best in the world, right? No, in all seriousness, I’m the freakin’ best in the world. Because every single town, every single night, it doesn’t matter the opponent, I show up and I show out. I was here the last time we were in this building.”

While it may seem like Rollins was genuinely upset by the chants, it’s important to note that this could all be part of a bigger storyline leading up to Wrestlemania. As WrestlingNews.co reported, CM Punk’s recent promo on SmackDown indicated that a match between him and Rollins could be in the works for the grandest stage of them all.

As a fan, it’s hard not to get excited about the possibility of a match between Rollins and Punk. Both superstars are known for their in-ring abilities and their ability to captivate audiences with their promos. If this match does indeed happen at Wrestlemania, it has the potential to be one of the greatest matches of all time.

But let’s not get ahead of ourselves. While the chants for CM Punk are undoubtedly exciting, it’s important to remember that nothing has been confirmed yet. We’ll have to wait and see how the storyline develops in the coming weeks.
