The company used a Judgment Day attack to cover for his injury, effectively writing him out of storylines for the time being. Owens had been teaming up with Sami Zayn and holding the WWE Tag Team titles. However, it seems that their issues with The Judgment Day faction are far from over.
With World Heavyweight champion Seth Rollins preparing for his upcoming title defense against Finn Bálor, who is aligned with The Judgment Day, it is logical for Rollins and Zayn to join forces once again. This Monday’s episode of Raw will see them team up to take on The Judgment Day in what promises to be an explosive match. The intertwining of these two storylines has been building for weeks, culminating in Zayn’s unsuccessful challenge for the NXT North American title and his failed attempt to save Rollins from a beatdown.
The upcoming episode of Raw will also feature another intriguing match, as Maxxine Dupri goes one-on-one with Valhalla.
