Rebel, the former side-kick of Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D., has been noticeably absent from All Elite Wrestling (AEW) for quite some time, leaving fans to wonder about her status with the company. However, according to a report from Fightful Select, Rebel is still under contract with AEW, despite not being used in recent months.
During her hiatus from the company, Rebel has not been seen backstage at AEW shows and is no longer working in the makeup department behind-the-scenes. However, there have been internal discussions within AEW about the possibility of her returning to TV. It seems that AEW currently has no plans for her to wrestle, but if she is asked, Rebel has expressed her willingness to step back into the squared circle.
If Rebel doesn’t have a match before the end of this year, it will mark the first time since 2014 that she has gone a year without stepping into the ring. However, she has set her sights on the independent scene in 2024 and hopes to make a return to wrestling. Despite not currently being in the ring, Rebel still remains a contracted talent with AEW.
