The full card is now final for Multiverse United, as March 30 will see NJPW and IMPACT come together for a loaded lineup in the sold out Globe Theater in Los Angeles.

Match order to be determined on the night as wrestlers make their entrance!

Hiroshi Tanahashi vs Mike Bailey

Originally scheduled as Mike Bailey versus Will Ospreay at Multiverse United, a right shoulder injury sustained opposite Mark Davis during the New Japan Cup has seen Ospreay sadly forced out of competition March 30 in the Globe Theater. Yet Hiroshi Tanahashi is always one to spot an opportunity, and never one to leave the fans disappointed. Volunteering himself to take Bailey’s place, Ace versus Speedball was quickly made official in a unique never before seen dream match!

STRONG Openweight Championship: KENTA vs Minoru Suzuki

Singles record: 1-1

After multiple brawls during the New Japan Cup tour, and after Suzuki took a shot to the head with the title in Hamamatsu this past weekend, Minoru Suzuki versus KENTA for the STRONG Openweight Championship is now official.

This first singles meeting between the two men in two years comes after repeated disrespect for KENTA toward the King, and a typical aggression from Suzuki. Riled into a wild brawl in Korakuen March 4, Suzuki would throw some particularly potent live rounds that left KENTA with a severely swollen eyebrow. Now taking his position as the face of NJPW events in America as the STRONG Openweight Champion very seriously, KENTA was furious, and wanting to pay out violent receipts.

At Battle in the Valley, KENTA seized STRONG gold thanks to the outside interference of Juice Robinson. Can he tackle Suzuki on his own March 30, or might his STRONG reign end at V0?

Lio Rush vs KUSHIDA

As reported by IMPACT Wrestling over the weekend, IMPACT World Champion Josh Alexander has undergone surgery for a torn tricep, an injury that has necessitated him to vacate his title, and for his planned match with KUSHIDA at Multiverse United this Thursday March 30 to be cancelled.

KUSHIDA will go on to compete for the vacated title against Steve Maclin at IMPACT’s Rebellion event on April 16. Before that though, he has an incredible replacement for Multiverse in the form of Lio Rush! After falling just short of the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship in an incredible bout with Hiromu Takahashi at the New Japan Cup final, Rush will look to bounce right back to top title contention, and could do just that Thursday. Or might it be KUSHIDA, for whom fate took away an IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship chance last autumn, rocketing himself to the front of the line for the winner of Robbie Eagles and Hiromu at Sakura Genesis?

IMPACT Knockouts Championship: Masha Slamovich vs Deonna Purazzo vs Giselle Shaw vs Miyu Yamashita

After Knockouts Champion Mickie James sustained an injury, her place in this Knockouts four way match will be taken by Masha Slamovich opposite Deonna Purrazzo, Gisele Shaw, and breakout Tokyo Joshi Pro star Miyu Yamashita. The winner of this four way will advance to either face Jordynne Grace and James for the Knockouts title, or will have a singles match with Grace for the vacated championship depending on James’ status, making for a high stakes four way matchup.

Jeff Cobb vs Moose

Singles record: 2-1 Cobb

When it comes to athletically gifted big men in the world of wrestling, Moose and Jeff Cobb sit right at the top of the list. One of the first matches announced for Multiverse United, Moose vs Cobb instantly became one of the most hotly anticipated bouts of the evening. In their first singles bout since 2018, who will emerge as the best of the super heavyweights in LA March 30?

IMPACT World Tag Team Championships: BULLET CLUB (Ace Austin & Chris Bey) vs Aussie Open (Kyle Fletcher & Mark Davis) vs Motor City Machineguns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin) vs TMDK (Bad Dude Tito & Shane Haste)

IMPACT Tag Team Championship gold will be on the line when the BULLET CLUB side of Ace Austin and Chris Bey face the challenge of Aussie Open, TMDK and Motor City Machineguns. Kyle Fletcher and Mark Davis may be in line to become IMPACT and IWGP Tag Team double Champions when all is said and done, having made an assertive challenge to Bishamon. Yet Bey and Austin, having built up more than valid credentials for an IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag team Championship shot of their own sooner rather than later, will not yield easily.

Neither will former champions Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin, the Motor City Machineguns. Recently relieved of their IMPACT titles by BULLET CLUB, their STRONG Openweight Tag Team Championships are not on the line tonight, but are another set of titles Aussie Open want back around their waists, having not been directly beaten for back in the autumn. Shane Haste and Bad Dude Tito meanwhile have been boosting TMDK’s presence on the US independents so far in the spring; as the group grows in number with the addition of Robbie Eagles, they seek to celebrate recent expansion with tag gold.

IMPACT X Division Championship- Six Way Scramble: Trey Miguel vs Frankie Kazarian vs Rich Swann vs Kevin Knight vs Clark Connors vs Rocky Romero

Should Trey Miguel retain his X division Championship against a mystery opponent at this weekend’s IMPACT Sacrifice event, he’ll have yet another hurdle in front of him at Multiverse United- or five to be exact. A six man scramble match sees him defend against Frankie Kazarian and Rich Swann of IMPACT, as well as NJPW’s Kevin Knight, Clark Connors and the recently shorn bald Rocky Romero. Who leaves with the X Division title?

Fred Rosser, Alex Coughlin, Callihan & PCO vs Eddie Edwards, Joe Hendry, Tom Lawlor & JR Kratos

Eight man tag team action sees allies and enemies from both IMPACT and NJPW collide. Tom Lawlor’s collisions with Fred Rosser have been the stuff of NJPW STRONG legend, and Alex Coughlin and JR Kratos don’t seem finished with one another yet. Add Eddie Edwards and Jose Hendry’s ongoing issues with Callihan and PCO, and this should be an explosive battle.

Kickoff Match: Yuya Uemura vs Gabriel Kidd

(Kickoff at 7:30 PM local)

Singles record 10-6 Uemura

FREE on FITE, Multiverse’s kickoff match will see Yuya Uemura and Gabriel Kidd reunited for the first time since Dontaku 2021. With Uemura making IMPACT his current home on excursion, he’s cultivated an independent spirit as he continues to make incredible strides in the ring and connecting with US audiences. The generational talent that is Gabriel Kidd meanwhile was burned after disappointing World Tag League results, and will look to show tonight that he is more than capable of singles success.
